What exactly do I get as part of the PostOnce FREE Trial and how is this different than a Gold Membership.

With the PostOnce FREE Trial your jobs are distributed to Standard Job Sites such as JobsOnline, America's Job Bank and hundreds of usenet newgroups. The full list of Standard Job Sites is here.

You will want to upgrade to a Gold membership in order to receive better results from your employment ads.  Having available Premium Job Sites greatly expands your employment ad distribution and serves to better target your job postings.  Premium Jobs Sites are available to Gold members and require a separate account relationship with the job site.

I would like to try your free trial membership, but when I go to sign up it asks me for a billing address. How can I be assured that I will not be billed for my 1 month free trial? 

By signing up for the FREE Trial, you will not be billed for any service.  You pay nothing to give PostOnce a test drive.  

After the FREE Trial ends, you are under no obligation to continue.  We are taking the risk and incurring the expense of your FREE Trial.  Most of our FREE Trial members like the PostOnce service and continue as Gold members, so we have no problem using the FREE Trial marketing tool as a way for new members to become better acquainted with the unique service offered by PostOnce.

You can be assured we will not bill you, because during the registration process we do not ask for your credit card number.  We do ask for your billing address so that you will not have to enter that information later when you upgrade to Gold.

When the trial ends do you automatically disengage my account or do I have to let you know when I am interested in a Gold Membership?

A few days before the FREE Trial ends and at its conclusion, we will notify you via email with an invitation to upgrade your PostOnce account to a Gold membership.

Some members interrupt the trial membership to upgrade to a Gold membership right away in order to realize the benefits of a Gold membership. If you elect this option, we will immediately credit the remaining days of your trial membership for FREE. So you can effectively get up to 2 months of PostOnce Gold for the price of one. So login to your account and upgrade to a PostOnce Gold Membership today.

If for some reason you do not wish to continue your PostOnce membership as a Gold member, then you need to do nothing.  The system will automatically deactivate your account.  It is important to note that company and job information will be lost and will not be recoverable by PostOnce support personnel.

PostOnce Distribution Network Questions

 

Is there a way to discriminate against certain sites within the Standard Sites?  I only want my jobs posted to sites associated with St. Louis, Missouri, jobs.offered and bestjobs.usa.

Yes.  PostOnce gives you full control over where your jobs are distributed.

Each destination in the PostOnce Distribution Network may be composed of one or more channels.  A channel contains related content, filtered and sorted logically.

  1. Channels with general content have no filtering or sorting and are for all types of jobs
  2. Channels with classification content filter and sort jobs by job classification such as permanent (career) or contract.
  3. Channels with regional content filter and sort jobs by geographic area such as city, state, MSA or country.  
  4. Channels with occupational content filter and sort jobs by profession such as Java programmers, construction workers or doctors.

As a way to save you time, your employment ad distribution list is simplified to only allow selection of job sites but not channels, because PostOnce intelligently handles the channel selection for you.

PostOnce saves you time.  When a job site has many channels like for example usenet newsgroups, PostOnce automatically distributes your job to only those channels within that jobsite that match your job criteria.  For example if your job location is in St. Louis Missouri then only the following regional channels in the usenet newsgroup example (above) will be included in the job distribution:

I operate a job board which I would like to be a part of the PostOnce Distribution Network.  What should I do?

The PostOnce Distribution Network is growing.  If you operate a popular job site and are interested in receiving a steady supply of job postings while increasing name recognition, send PostOnce an email with your job posting specifications.  PostOnce will FTP or email job postings to your job site.  

On the other hand, if you have the available software development resources, are flexible and want to receive job postings faster, send PostOnce an email and we will start sending job postings to your job site immediately in a pre-defined format.

If you do not currently have the capability to receive job postings via FTP or email but would like to, please contact us.  PostOnce has many options available to you. 

All job boards in the PostOnce Distribution Network are free-of-charge to job seekers and open to the public, allowing anonymous browsing (no login requirements) for browsing job listings.

What internet browsers does PostOnce support?

PostOnce has been tested with Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0+ and Netscape Navigator 4.0+.  Use other browsers at your discretion.

Why canít I sign on to the site?

If you are experiencing problems signing onto PostOnce, make sure that you have enabled cookies within your browser. For more information about cookies, click here

PostOnce is set up with a "three strikes and you are out" login entry.  This means that PostOnce users have three chances to enter correct login information before having their user account deactivated.  Further logins to deactivated user accounts are not allowed and require PostOnce Technical Support intervention in order to re-activate.

Note that this login scheme is implemented in order to secure your user account from unauthorized access.  If PostOnce users need current login information, then they should request login information using the "Lost my password" routine.

If you are experiencing problems with PostOnce site navigation, make sure that you have enabled JavaScript within your browser.  Once you have verified the browser requirements, clear your browser cache and then try to login again.

Registration Questions

 

Do you verify member registration information?

Yes.  PostOnce Editors manually edit, categorize, approve and monitor each member registration and job posting to ensure that member content complies with the PostOnce Terms of Service.

By way of summary, PostOnce is intended for corporate and third-party recruiters.  PostOnce is not intended for home-based, work from home, distributorships, pyramid schemes etc.  Please refer to the PostOnce Terms of Service for full details on intended audience, allowable content and uses.

Member accounts are deactivated without notice for violations of the PostOnce Terms of Service.  There is no grace period, PostOnce personnel check membership registrations prior to distributing jobs to sites in the PostOnce Distribution Network.

Keep in mind that these are not PostOnce requirements, but requirements imposed by the sites to which PostOnce distributes jobs.

Why do I need to enter certain fields (ie. contact phone number)?

PostOnce has designed a user-friendly interface for registration and job posting.  PostOnce has greatly limited the number of required fields to only those fields really and truly necessary.  The requirements do not come from PostOnce, but from the individual job boards to which we distribute your open positions.  One of the biggest values of using PostOnce is not having to manage all of these distribution details yourself.

The job boards in the PostOnce Distribution Network will reject jobs that do not have certain fields completed.  As your Job Posting Portal, if you do not provide this information to us, then we can not distribute your job successfully.  If you enter incomplete or false information, then your job distribution will simply be returned to us by the job board and not be posted.  

For these reasons and as detailed in the PostOnce Terms of Service, we will deactivate PostOnce memberships without complete and accurate information.  So, please enter accurate information where required.  

PostOnce helps protect your online privacy by hiding your email address and limiting contact information access to only qualified candidates.  Keep in mind that by posting jobs to the internet, you are in effect "advertising" and while PostOnce will do everything technically possible to protect your privacy and respect your time, no one can completely avoid persistent, off-topic, third-party sales promotions (spam) without adversely affecting your own marketing campaigns.

Why do you need the URL for the recruiting company? Our office is an independent
district managers office and all correspondence will be with this office (district office).

Entry of the url field is optional. This field (if provided) is included along with your job distributions so candidates can get to know your company better.

PostOnce Operating Features Questions

 

Can only one (1) user at a time be logged on?

PostOnce is a multi-user environment. Each PostOnce membership includes one primary user with "administrator" permissions. Administrators are granted full permissions including the power to create up to four (4) additional users with limited "job poster" permissions. 

Job poster user accounts may be assigned to data entry personnel or even individual recruiters in an office. Job posters have permission to add, edit or delete job postings but are not allowed to change account settings or view subscription or credit card payment information. 

Currently job poster users are allowed for each and every PostOnce membership without additional cost and PostOnce supports simultaneous login for multiple users.

Many PostOnce members have found the PostOnce multi-user environment a key differentiator over any other job posting solution and like having the power to define their own users without having to wait for activation.

Applicant Tracking Questions

 

I have posted 5 jobs to PostOnce.  How will I know if there are any responses to these postings?

PostOnce automatically forwards candidate applications by email to the appropriate recruiter in your organization.

In order to summarize applicant tracking by position, PostOnce members need only to log in and click "(A)pplicants" in the PostOnce Member Index.

I am receiving candidate responses with the source jobsite of "PostOnce".  What do candidate responses from "PostOnce" mean?  How are these candidates finding my job posting?

Depending on the membership type, PostOnce member jobs are distributed to Standard and Premium job sites.  PostOnce member jobs are also published on the PostOnce website.  "PostOnce" is noted as the referring jobsite for candidates who apply from the PostOnce website.

In addition any candidate applications resulting from jobs distributed via the "Send to a Friend" feature on the PostOnce website are highlighted as coming from PostOnce.
